Shipping & Returns

When will I receive my order?

Orders typically ships out next business day. Depending on location, you can expect to receive your order within 2 to 7 days.  
Please note we do not ship out orders during the weekend. Your best bet for a weekend shipment is to purchase our product via Amazon.  

Due to global logistical delays, all shipping carriers no longer guarantee transit times. While you’ll likely receive your order within the estimated timeframe, it’s not a guarantee. 

How do I find my order number?

Your order number will be in your order confirmation email sent right after you place an order on our website. 

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. 

How do I cancel or make a change to my order?

Please email us at [email protected] to update your order. We will try our best to make the changes before your order ships so don’t wait too long to reach out to us. 

I received a wrong or damaged item. What do I do?

Wow, that’s disappointing! We are so sorry about that experience. Please send an email with a picture of the damage to [email protected] with your order number and we’ll be sure to send you a replacement. 

Please be sure to reach out to us within 30 days of purchase date. 

Where do you ship to?

We only ship within the contiguous United States at this time. Alaska and Hawaii are subject to different shipping rates. We are working towards shipping to more countries.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping for orders that are $75 and over within the contiguous United States. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to additional shipping charges. 

How do I exchange, return, or request a refund?

Bummer! We are sorry you’re not satisfied with your purchase. Please email us at [email protected] with request and if you’re up for it, your feedback as well. We take quality seriously and your feedback will help us make improvements to our products. 

For a refund, please provide your order number and date of purchase. We will do our best to process refunds within 3 to 5 business days. 

As far as returns, depending on the nature of your order, we may ask you to return the products. That being said, where we deem applicable, you won’t be required to return the product as we’d rather save you the trouble and spare the environment as well.

All requests for replacements or refunds must be submitted within 30 days of the purchase date to be considered.

Why are your products single-use?

We recommend and request that our customers reduce, reuse, and recycle always!

However, there are those special occasions where disposable plates sets are necessary. In those instances, we want you to be picky. We want you to use our eye-catching, colorful, compostable and disposable tableware. Use Pickytarian! 

Are your products compostable?

Our eco friendly disposable plate sets and tableware are compostable. They breakdown within 2 to 6 months in commercial composting facilities. 

What are your products made with?

Pickytarian’s beautiful disposable plates are made from bamboo and sugarcane pulp. 

Pickytarian’s cutlery/utensils are made from bamboo powder and compostable fibers. 

Our disposable bamboo plates are designed to make a nicer statement at any event.  

Where are your products made?

Pickytarian’s dinnerware products are designed in America. Our tablewares are ethically sourced and made in China.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Not at this time. If this is something that you think we should offer, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll be sure to take this into consideration. Thank you. 

Is your product available in stores?

Pickytarian products are only available online at this time. If you’re a retailer who would like to carry our biodegradable plates and tableware sets in your stores, please send an email to [email protected]

Where is my money going? Who do you donate to?

We donate to organizations whose mission is to eradicate homelessness and food insecurity.

Our founder volunteers weekly with the Grass Roots Neighbors, a volunteer-run organization that meets the needs of those experiencing food and housing insecurity. Grass Roots Neighbors is a recipient of your donations so thank you for your purchase!
