Pickytarian stemmed from a desire to elevate an experience that is often riddled with single-use plastics, outdated designs, and subpar offerings. While we encourage everyone to re-use and minimize waste as much as possible, we understand that there will be occasions where that isn’t possible. In those instances, we encourage you to be picky and more selective about your choices.

I bought a set to test out before an upcoming event, and I was really impressed! The plates feel sturdy and high quality, and were shipped very quickly. The shape is unique and make them look higher end than other disposable options. Also impressed with the quality of the utensils. These held up to our Thanksgiving food, even the super buttery biscuits. Will be buying more for my upcoming event and am so thrilled to have found this company!
I was really surprised by the quality of these disposable bamboo plates from Pickytarian. They’re sturdy enough to handle saucy dishes without getting soggy, and the best part is they look elegant on the table. Since they’re made from bamboo and sugarcane pulp, they feel eco-friendly but still special enough for hosting. The full set made it super easy to serve everything without worrying about running out.

Most Creative and beautiful compostable product – I am so happy to finally find a compostable product that is attractive and sturdy, interesting and colorful. I used the purple plates and napkins on dark purple tablecloths for a church party and it looked stunning. The teardrop shape of the plates is unique and attractive.
